Introduction"
So we have been talking about Israel and how they didn't except Jesus as Messiah and Paul is speaking to the Gentiles about them.

Romans 11:15-36 (NASB)
15 For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?
     If their rejection will bring about acceptance to the whole world then they bring life from the dead. Not resurrection walking around living dead but spiritual life.

Introduction
Paul has been talking about how salvation comes to those who believe (Rom.10:9-11).
He’s talked about how not all of Israel has chosen to believe in the gospel (Rom.10:16).
He’s talked about how God had predicted that the Jews would be stubborn and rebellious (Rom. 10:21).
Now the question comes up, “Is God finished with the Jews then?”

Romans 11:1-36 (NASB)
1 I say then, God has not rejected His people, has He? May it ne...

Introduction;
Last week we left off with the scripture verse whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved! Now this is Quoted from Joel 2:32; Acts 2:21. Believing on Christ and calling upon Him are in effect the same thing (Rom. 10:9-13). Calling upon God presupposes faith in Him, and if one has faith he will call upon God in all times of need.
(1) People will call on Jesus to save them only if they believe he can do so;
(2) belief in Christ cannot exist without knowl...

Introduction
Paul has been talking about the sovereignty of God – how God chooses us and shows mercy to us.  He’s talked about how God has done an amazing thing and shown mercy to people who were “not” His people – that’s us.
The odd thing in God’s plan is that the people we call the “chosen” people, the Jews, have chosen to reject God’s Son, while those who used to be known as “not a people”, the Gentiles, h...

Intro;
We must understand Romans 9-11 is an illustration of God’s Faithfulness and His Sovereignty in salvation. Chapter 8 ends with Paul saying nothing can separate us from the Love of God in Christ. The Israelites regarded themselves as having a special privileged position with God. Here is a nation that counted itself as having an inside track with God.  They saw themselves as the people of God chosen to be close to Him with advantages that no other nation had.

Romans 8:24-39 (NASB)
24 For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?
25 But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it.
•
24 We are saved by trusting. And trusting means looking forward to getting something we don’t yet have—for a man who already has something doesn’t need to hope and trust that he will get it.
25 But if we must kee...
